NVIDIA said its MGX-compatible 800-volt DC power rack is scheduled to arrive in the second half of 2026, allowing existing AI facilities to deliver DC power to compute racks within a row without changes to the building electrical system. The company said it developed the architecture with Google and Microsoft through the Open Compute Project, which published a joint white paper in March and a transformer specification in July. NVIDIA said more than 80 equipment makers and infrastructure companies are building to that specification. It also outlined row power centers planned for 2027 and facility-scale DC power blocks for new builds.
