Supabase announced tools that let coding agents manage backend schemas and configuration in repositories, alongside an authenticated server through which users' agents can work inside an app. A new migration engine generates database changes from SQL schema files.

Local development can now run without Docker and support separate instances for different directories; that feature is in alpha and disabled by default. Supabase also announced Compute for long-running services, in private alpha. App agent access remains governed by policies controlling which database rows each user can reach.
