China Unicom and Huawei deploy dedicated 5G-A network for humanoid robot games
Image: Primary China Unicom Beijing and Huawei deployed dedicated 5G-A network capacity for the second World Humanoid Robot Games, supporting 2,056 humanoid robots from 666 teams across 51 events, according to the companies. The deployment combines a 100 MHz network, a 300 MHz indoor LampSite network, and a dedicated 5QI 7 slice. The companies said on-site tests recorded peak uplink speed of 1 Gbps and average latency below 30 milliseconds. They also integrated BeiDou RTK positioning for decimeter- to sub-decimeter-level accuracy.
