Robotics startup Sharpa has raised more than RMB 4.5 billion ($668 million) at a reported RMB 22 billion post-money valuation. The company said it will use the capital for research and development, talent, and moving its general-purpose robots from technical validation toward commercial deployment. Sharpa develops systems combining models, sensors and robotic hardware for dexterous manipulation, and says it serves robot OEMs, research institutions and food-service customers.
