Ugreen has opened preorders for HomeAgent and MasterAgent, locally run AI smart-home hubs that work with ONVIF and Matter-compatible devices. The lineup includes hubs based on ARM systems and a $20,000 MasterAgent using Nvidia's Jetson Thor platform. Ugreen says the products can run functions such as home automation, object recognition and camera features without sending sensitive data to the cloud. The company plans to begin shipping in January after its preorder and Kickstarter periods.
