# AWS makes Agent Registry generally available in five regions

AWS said its Agent Registry is now generally available in five AWS Regions. The service provides a private catalog and discovery layer for AI agents, tools, skills, MCP servers and custom resources. New enterprise features include infrastructure-as-code support, cross-account sharing, tagging and automatic detection of AgentCore runtime and gateway agents across an organization. Registry resources can also be discovered from Bedrock AgentCore, Amazon Quick and Kiro IDE, while the registry itself is exposed as an MCP server.
