# Apple expands Siri AI beta to five additional languages

Apple made its Siri AI beta available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish with the release of its 27.2 software updates on October 26. The assistant requires an Apple Intelligence-enabled device set to a supported language.

Apple says Siri AI can use personal context across messages, emails and photos, act on screen content, and perform tasks such as drafting emails or editing and sharing photos. It remains unavailable in the EU on iOS, iPadOS and watchOS, and users under 13 cannot access it. Certain server-based features carry daily usage limits; Apple plans paid expanded access.
