# Microsoft and Lumen expand joint sales of networking for Azure AI

Microsoft and Lumen Technologies said Monday they will jointly sell networking to large companies moving AI workloads onto Azure. Lumen plans to bring its full range of cloud networking tools to Azure, with both companies' sales teams working on deals combining networks, cloud migration and AI.

Customers can already buy Lumen's Alkira product through Microsoft's business software store to manage links between clouds and offices. The companies also plan to explore connections with Microsoft's AI agent controls, but gave no financial figures or timeline.
