AWS published a walkthrough for building MCP Apps on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, using the MCP Apps extension to render interactive HTML widgets inside AI hosts such as ChatGPT and Claude.

The sample Unicorn Rentals app runs a TypeScript MCP server on AgentCore runtime, fronted by AgentCore Gateway with AWS WAF, and delegates business logic to a Lambda function backed by DynamoDB. Tools without an associated widget resource return text only. AWS says the host-agnostic standard lets the same server deliver the same experience across hosts that support the extension, and the deployment code is published as a CDK stack.
