# Musk says Grok Bot will use rival AI models

Grok Bot will use outside models including Anthropic's Claude Opus 5.5, Midjourney and Suno rather than relying only on SpaceX's own models, Elon Musk said Wednesday. He said SpaceX would choose a backend model for each task based on the expected outcome.

The SpaceXAI agent app launched in August. Each Bot operates on its own computer and can perform several tasks in parallel. Musk did not specify which tasks would be assigned to each outside model.
