# Cloudflare adds direct site tools to Kitesurf agent browser

Cloudflare says its Kitesurf browser now supports WebMCP, allowing AI agents to call functions exposed by websites instead of navigating solely through simulated clicks. The company has also made Kitesurf available across the Browser Run API, including through Playwright, Puppeteer and MCP, and added a version that renders pages in a terminal.

Cloudflare reports that Kitesurf now passes more than 730,000 Web Platform Tests subtests, an increase of 500,000 since its August introduction. Developers can try it through the public playground or Browser Run. Kitesurf remains in beta with per-account limits, and Cloudflare says it has yet to release the browser as open source.
