Zoox has extended its commercial robotaxi service in Las Vegas to rides to and from Harry Reid International Airport, TechCrunch reported. Customers will be able to hail airport rides beginning Thursday. The expansion follows an August federal temporary exemption that lets Zoox deploy up to 2,500 vehicles for two years under exemptions from eight vehicle-safety standards. Zoox has charged for Las Vegas rides since August 10. The airport service includes pickup and drop-off near baggage claim at both terminals, according to the company.
