The United Arab Emirates is preparing a €40 billion commitment to Germany, framed at $46.4 billion, with artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, and energy as its focus, according to a joint announcement during UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan's state visit.

The package targets about 1 gigawatt of additional data center capacity, with €10 billion reportedly slated for Bavaria. The two governments also said they plan to widen defense cooperation and agreed to establish an investment council. The UAE already has about €34 billion invested in Germany, and 2025 non-oil trade between the countries reached $15.5 billion.
