Instagram tests 90-minute horizontal videos with US creators

Instagram tests 90-minute horizontal videos with US creators Image: Primary
Instagram began testing horizontal videos up to 90 minutes long with select US creators on Monday, 9to5Mac reported, citing The Hollywood Reporter. The format, called Features, expands a test previously conducted in Brazil and targets podcasters, comedians and other long-form creators. Creators can link short Reels to full-length videos. Instagram product vice president Tessa Lyons said viewers can continue from a podcast clip or jump to the full episode without leaving Instagram. Full-length videos will also receive recommendations on Explore and elsewhere in the app. Established creators can bring existing branded content and advertising placements into the format. US access remains limited to selected creators.
