Ultrahuman announced it has begun rolling out its largest platform update to date, an overhaul called Emerald that introduces a context-aware AI engine and shifts data processing to users' devices. The company said the update moves the companion app for its smart rings and health devices away from a data-heavy approach toward direct lifestyle recommendations. The core of the redesigned interface is UltraSphere, a decision engine powered by the Jade AI biointelligence layer announced alongside the Ultrahuman Ring Pro in February. Visible on the app's primary home screen, the engine processes markers including sleep structure, recovery, heart rate variability, and continuous glucose tracking to generate real-time recommendations anchored to location, weather, and personal circadian rhythms. Ultrahuman said it has transitioned the application to on-device processing, moving data analysis away from remote servers to ensure live health metrics remain accessible without cellular connectivity. The update also features an enhanced VO2 max metric that the company says improves accuracy by 21% based on validation against gold-standard laboratory tests, along with overhauled automatic workout detection, a consolidated sleep health report, and a dedicated longevity hub for tracking long-term biological age.
