Z.ai makes GLM-5.3 coding model available through its services

Z.ai released GLM-5.3 through its GLM Coding Plan subscription and ZCode, while saying API access and downloadable model weights will follow a safety review. The company describes the 743-billion-parameter model as an update built by scaling post-training on the GLM-5.2 base. It reported a 34.5% result on its in-house Code Bench at Max effort, compared with 23.4% for GLM-5.2, while using roughly 75,000 output tokens per task versus 96,000. The article reported that GLM-5.3 remains behind some closed models on named coding benchmarks.
