A fake Padre Terminal cryptocurrency trading app has been removed from Apple's App Store after blockchain investigator Iris confirmed that one victim was compromised through it, BleepingComputer reports. Iris says the app drains wallets when users import private keys.

The investigator traced approximately $23,000 in thefts from 27 Solana wallets to the operation since October 25, but has not established how the other wallets were compromised. The legitimate trading service, now called Terminal by pump.fun, is web-only.

The operation remained active after the app's removal, with the latest reported theft at 17:06 UTC on October 29. Iris has not directly observed the app's wallet-draining screen.
