Supabase says businesses can now connect Stripe Data Pipeline to a Supabase project from the Stripe Dashboard. Stripe backfills historical payment, customer and subscription data, then keeps it continuously synchronized in dedicated database tables, replacing webhook handlers and API-based copying.

Developers can query those tables alongside application data using SQL, including checking subscription status without an extra Stripe API call at request time. The connection uses short-lived credentials instead of a stored database password, enforces SSL and restricts Stripe's database role to its dedicated schema.
