Anduril now says its BlueChip laptop is being developed to exceed the 65% US domestic-content threshold at its planned 2027 launch, reversing an earlier response to The Verge that left the threshold unsettled.

The commitment matters for federal procurement: the Buy American standard requires domestic content measured by cost, and agencies generally need waivers to purchase products that do not qualify. Anduril previously put the prototype's US-origin share at approximately 32% by component procurement cost.

The company says it is still determining the final percentage while selecting suppliers and developing prototypes. Qualcomm says the laptop's processor will be manufactured at TSMC's Arizona facility.
