AWS adds cross-region and cross-account FSx backup copies

AWS says Amazon FSx for NetApp ONTAP now supports copying backups within and across AWS Regions and across trusted accounts in an organization. Previously, customers could create and restore backups only in the same Region and account as the file system. AWS says the new capability applies to new and existing backups in every Region where the managed shared-storage service is available.
