Rivian spinoff Also is shipping its early Launch Edition e-bikes after supply shortages delayed deliveries, The Verge reported. President Chris Yu said competition with AI server makers for components and circuit-board materials forced the company to qualify alternatives.

Replacement capacitors and board materials required weeks of thermal, shock and vibration testing. Yu also said Also worked with UL to clarify certification requirements for its removable battery, which supports regenerative braking and USB-C charging at up to 240 watts, and is now fully UL certified. Standard and Performance versions have yet to follow, while some early customers have reported minor software problems.
