Apple is rolling out a beta AI assistant in Keynote, Pages and Numbers, The Verge reports. Built on Apple and OpenAI models, it uses document context to help refine slides, draft and restructure text, and calculate or organize spreadsheet data.

The three apps also support the Model Context Protocol on macOS 27 or later, allowing third-party AI agents to connect to them. The assistant requires an Apple Intelligence-compatible device running iOS 27, iPadOS 27 or macOS 27 or later.
