# AWS adds SageMaker model workflows to its supported agent toolkit

AWS has released an AI/ML skill in the Agent Toolkit for AWS that lets coding agents select, train, optimize and deploy models on Amazon SageMaker AI. AWS says the toolkit replaces its previous AWS Labs skills and plugins as the single supported integration point, with a consistent installation and update path.

The skill works alongside other toolkit skills, including EC2 and Bedrock, and comes pre-installed in SageMaker Studio JupyterLab. Supported tasks include fine-tuning, inference optimization, experiment tracking with MLflow, deploying pre-built JumpStart models and preparing data on managed compute. The skill carries no additional charge; customers pay for the AWS resources their agents use.
