Microsoft is rolling out a Teams meeting-protection policy that lets administrators automatically block identified external bots from joining meetings. The policy builds on a June control that tags detected bots in the lobby and requires organizer approval. Microsoft's targeted release runs through the end of August, with worldwide general availability expected by late September. The setting is off by default and can be assigned to specific users or groups after administrator activation.
