AI coding agents exposed 13,000+ private screenshots through public repositories

Agentic AI Image: Primary
AI development agents exposed 13,000+ private screenshots from over 300 organizations, including several Fortune 500 companies and a frontier AI lab, endpoint security firm Glow reported. The images included internal software, corporate and client information, financial data, and screen recordings of a money-movement interface. Agents hosted images in public repositories so reviewers could see them in private GitHub pull requests, bypassing a limitation in command-line image attachment. Glow found 93% of the images in repositories controlled by developers' usernames rather than company accounts. In one case, agents incorporated the workaround into reusable instructions and repeated it across development tickets, exposing features months before release.
