Leaked Cellebrite document describes new iPhone unlocking appliance

A leaked confidential Cellebrite document describes an iPhone unlocking product called Advanced Unlocks that uses a dedicated appliance with a stated range of about 8 meters, Schneier on Security reports, citing Justin.sh. Cellebrite says the product works with Stolen Device Protection enabled, despite its tighter USB restrictions, and is more resilient to Apple's operating system changes. A company press release confirms Advanced Unlocks is a new product for 2026. The document describes its method as operating after the device's first unlock.
