QTREX Quantum said on October 1 that an unnamed quantum computing company tested its additively manufactured interconnect at 20 millikelvin, achieving more than 100 dB of channel isolation across the 4-8 GHz qubit band. The partner used its own cooling system and instruments.

The wiring maintained stable performance through cooling cycles and bending, with low signal loss and impedance uniformity comparable to machined coaxial cable. QTREX proposes replacing bulky, hand-assembled cabling with denser wiring that imposes a lower heat load.

The company is finalizing a binding definitive agreement with the testing partner. Its stated potential to support thousands and ultimately millions of qubits extends beyond the reported test results.
