Cohere makes Parse 5 document model generally available

Cohere has made Parse 5 generally available through its API, Model Vault, Microsoft Foundry and AWS SageMaker. The 2.3-billion-parameter vision-language model turns PDF, PowerPoint and JPEG pages into structured Markdown in a single pass and is priced at $1.50 per 1,000 pages. Cohere reports a 79.2 ParseBench score, below three larger models it compares, while positioning the product for high-volume document ingestion.
