Waymo confirmed that one of its robotaxis pulled over and alerted authorities after detecting a terms-of-service violation involving a firearm, The Verge reported.

Two juvenile riders in San Francisco were arrested and taken to juvenile hall after police found a loaded AR-style ghost gun, according to the report. Waymo did not detail the detection method. The episode shows a driverless ride service using its operational controls to interrupt a trip and involve law enforcement when it identifies conduct prohibited under its service terms.
