Preprint describes self-correcting AI editor for slide decks
Researchers introduced ACE, a preprint system for automating multi-slide presentation edits through a hierarchical scene graph, a 98-tool action space and a self-correction loop. On a 94-task benchmark, the authors report instruction-following scores of 4.23 for ACE versus 3.81 for a same-backbone agentic HTML pipeline, alongside 1.75-times speed and roughly 44% lower cost. The results rely on a benchmark and judge-based evaluation, not a reported commercial deployment.
