# Check Point releases LivePatch for reported critical server flaw

Check Point released a LivePatch for CVE-2026-91843, which The Tech Edvocate reports is a 9.8-rated stack-overflow flaw in its Security Management and Log Servers. The report says a long username submitted during login can allow unauthenticated network attackers to execute code as root. It says the affected servers manage firewall policy and security logs, while adding that it had no indication of exploitation in the wild.
