DuckLabs says its team will join AWS in September
Image: Primary DuckLabs said its team will join Amazon Web Services in early September. The Amsterdam-based group behind DuckDB said it will remain together and continue work on DuckDB, DuckLake and Quack. DuckDB and other open-source Duck Stack components will remain free under the MIT license, while the nonprofit DuckDB Foundation will continue to steward them. DuckLabs said AWS plans to use the technology in a new generation of data services, but did not provide transaction terms.
