SpaceX cuts Florida launch cadence as Starlink shifts west
Image: Primary SpaceX is significantly reducing launches from Florida for the rest of the year, a senior company official confirmed, as Starlink missions shift to the company's Vandenberg launch site in California. The last planned Starlink mission from Cape Canaveral flew Tuesday until Starship missions begin from Florida, according to the official. The Florida spaceport's rate could fall from eight or nine launches a month to about two.
