Apple filed a new document in its trade-secret lawsuit against OpenAI seeking expedited discovery after an initial forensic inspection of former engineer Chang Liu's post-Apple MacBook, according to Apple. Apple alleges Liu used a confidential circuit schematic in OpenAI work and sent instructions to destroy evidence after learning of Apple's investigation. The company says the MacBook also indicates awareness at OpenAI of Liu's access to Apple cloud storage. OpenAI has sought dismissal.
