Digi Power X has signed a $19.6 million contract with SubQ AI to provide bare metal GPU capacity at one of its AI data centers. The two-year agreement begins May 15, 2026, and includes an upfront payment of $2.95 million from SubQ AI. Under the deal, Digi Power X will deliver access to Nvidia Blackwell GPUs through its NeoCloudz GPU-as-a-Service platform. The contract marks the first operational commissioning of Digi's AI factory offering and the company's first named multi-year contract. Digi Power X has secured 10 GPU pods with up to 4,000 Blackwell B3000 GPUs. Alec Amar, president of Digi Power X, said the agreement represents the official commercial launch of the NeoCloudz platform. He said the company intends to rapidly scale the relationship and welcome additional AI customers. Justin Dangel, CEO of SubQ AI, said the initial deployment is the first step in a larger relationship, with a roadmap calling for scaling to several thousand GPUs over the next few quarters. Digi Power X operates facilities in Alabama and New York, with a site under development in North Carolina. The company, formerly known as Digihost, originated as a cryptocurrency miner before pivoting to AI infrastructure. It acquired its Alabama site in June 2022 for $2.75 million. Chief technology officer Jagan Jeyapaul said the company is also exploring a Silicon Valley location.
