Microsoft continued mitigation and extended monitoring for a multi-day Microsoft 365 outage after a core authentication configuration problem caused Outlook mail delays and failures, authentication issues and disruptions to other services. SharePoint, Copilot, Teams, Purview, Defender XDR, the Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Universal Print were also affected. Microsoft reported improving mail flow, search functionality and overall availability, but had not declared the incident fully resolved.
