AWS says developers can now create and manage HyperPod Spaces directly in SageMaker Studio, launching JupyterLab or Code Editor on shared clusters without command-line tools. Previously, Space management relied primarily on the HyperPod CLI or Kubernetes commands.

The interface lets users configure compute and storage, manage quotas, and start or stop environments to release compute resources. Administrators must install the Spaces add-on and configure access; browser access requires the custom installation option. The add-on carries no additional charge, but users pay for underlying compute and remote connectivity, with extra compute costs for keeping nodes warm.
