# OpenAI adds matching API credits to eligible ChatGPT subscriptions

OpenAI has added API credits matching the subscription price for customers on $100, $200 and $500 ChatGPT plans, Simon Willison reported. Subscribers can apply the credits to one of their API organizations.

The benefit follows Anthropic's announcement earlier this month that Max and Team subscribers paying $100, $200 and $500 per month would receive equivalent amounts of expiring API credits.
