OpenAI has bought smartphone-camera company Glass Imaging in a deal worth more than $300 million, The Wall Street Journal reported, according to TechCrunch. Glass Imaging uses neural networks trained on individual smartphone camera systems to improve images at capture rather than edit them afterward. The company was founded by former Apple engineers Ziv Attar and Tom Bishop and had raised about $30 million. OpenAI did not respond to TechCrunch's request for comment.
