Illumina raised its 2026 revenue guidance to $4.64-$4.66 billion from $4.60-$4.64 billion following third-quarter clinical sequencing demand and NovaSeq X installations, Yahoo Finance reported. Adjusted earnings guidance increased to $5.40-$5.45 per share from $5.30-$5.40.

Management reported more than 80 NovaSeq X placements during the quarter. The platform now accounts for 84% of high-throughput sequencing volume and 60% of associated revenue. Sequencing consumables revenue increased 6% to $792 million, while research and applied consumables declined 6%. Management continued to expect research-market declines during 2026.
