Zhejiang Sankai Electromechanical secured more than $70 million in Series B funding to expand production capacity and advance its robotics technology, Techloy reported. The Chinese manufacturer is developing precision gear reducers, components that enable controlled movement in humanoid robots.

The investment will support manufacturing expansion and further development of those components. The company's stated use of the funding covers both production capacity and technology development; the gear reducers remain under development.
