Tesla reportedly plans Cybercab employee rides on Austin roads

Tesla is preparing to offer Cybercab rides to employees on public roads in Austin as soon as this month, before reportedly adding the vehicles to its existing Austin robotaxi service a few days later. The reported internal target is the end of August, though people familiar with the effort said the schedule could slip. Tesla has reportedly tested around its Austin campus since July and began public-road testing of the production version in June.
