X Square Robot introduces wearable system for dexterous-training data

X Square Robot introduced TwinDEX, a wearable data-collection device paired with a matched robotic end effector for training dexterous manipulation. The company says both use three fingers and nine degrees of freedom, with synchronized camera, wrist-pose, finger-state and tactile inputs. X Square Robot reported up to 5.3 times the effective data-collection throughput of on-robot teleoperation and described tests on tool-use tasks plus a 24-step autonomous chemistry experiment. The reported results have not been independently verified.
