Mistral opens Responses API in public preview

Mistral AI says it has introduced a public preview of its Responses API for developers building agents. The API returns a model's answer, reasoning and tool calls as separate items, allowing applications to handle those steps individually. It supports all chat models hosted by Mistral, including Large 4.
