Hasbro discloses employee data breach in Massachusetts filings
Image: Primary Hasbro disclosed that attackers accessed personal and financial information belonging to employees, according to breach-notification letters filed with Massachusetts authorities.
The company said it disabled the compromised employee account, ended unauthorized access and added safeguards. The state's breach report lists 436 affected Hasbro employees in Massachusetts and says exposed data included Social Security numbers, financial-account information, payment-card numbers and driver's-license information. Hasbro did not disclose the total affected population, when it detected the incident, whether customers were affected or whether it was related to its March cyberattack.
