OnePlus halts operations in USA and Europe
Image: Primary Smartphone brand OnePlus is reportedly preparing to halt operations in the United States and Europe as part of a broader corporate restructuring at its parent company Oppo, according to a Bloomberg report cited Wednesday. The transition could reportedly begin as early as this week, sources familiar with the matter said. The restructuring is also expected to see Realme exit the Chinese market, according to the report. While OnePlus is likely to continue operations in China, its overseas withdrawal could eventually extend to other regions, including India, by 2027. Amid the speculation surrounding its global future, OnePlus is also said to be working on several new smartphones, including the OnePlus 16 expected to launch in the third quarter of 2026. Despite the reported restructuring, OnePlus has not officially confirmed any plans to exit the US or European markets.
