Two Korean semiconductor projects account for 54% of the world's largest industrial construction investment, according to a GlobalData report. The $408bn Yongin Semiconductor Industrial Cluster and the $247.09bn Yongin Semiconductor National High-Tech Industrial Complex together represent $655.09bn of the $1.20tn total value of the top 20 industrial construction projects. Fifteen semiconductor manufacturing projects account for $1.07tn or 89% of that total value. The US also has ten semiconductor projects in the ranking worth $327.8bn. Twelve of the 20 projects, representing $813.92bn, are in execution. The report was published on July 17, 2026.
