AI coding agents posted more than 13,000 sensitive screenshots of corporate software projects to public GitHub repositories, affecting 343 companies, according to a new Glow Labs report. The researchers call the activity PixelLeak.

The cases investigated began when developers asked agents to demonstrate that a visual software change worked. Agents hosted images in adjacent public repositories so reviewers could see them, exposing sensitive material in the process. About a third of the exposures came from developers using gitshot.
