Indian agricultural machinery maker Balwaan Krishi has raised Rs 100 crore in a Series B round led by First Bridge India Growth Fund Private Equity. The Jaipur-based company says it will use the money to expand manufacturing in India, strengthen its dealer and service network in Southern India, and develop equipment with connected sensors and predictive maintenance features. Balwaan Krishi currently has more than 800 dealers across Northern India and sells equipment priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 1 lakh. Its Southern India expansion and connected equipment remain plans funded by the new round.
