Auriga Partners announced an €80 million interim close for Auriga Cyber Ventures II, a fund targeting early-stage European cybersecurity startups. Backers include Bpifrance through the French National Seed Fund No. 3 and the European Investment Fund under InvestEU.

The fund targets €100 million, with a €120 million hard cap, and plans investments of €500,000 to €5 million from pre-Seed through Series A. It will take minority stakes and reserve roughly half its capital for follow-on investments.

Auriga says the fund has already invested in Finovox, Fleuret, Mankind's and Nextident. Its focus includes AI security, identity and data protection; it aims to back around 30 startups.
